Shipwreck has always had two main interests – music and travel. Over
the last few years his travels have taken him to over 30 countries
allowing him the opportunity to DJ within 18 of them ranging from
Estonia, Cambodia the United States to Colombia. At one of his weekly
residencies in Tulum, Mexico he was given the nickname "Shipwreck"
from friends and the venue management due to his diversity and
unpredictability in both his music style and the different cities in
which he would entertain crowds.
Upon returning to his hometown of Sydney in late 2007 he has started
to carve out a unique style entertaining A-list parties and nightclubs
finishing the year off Djing at Ian Thorpes New Years Eve Party.
Shipwrecks style is best described as a blender of all musical genres
and eras fused with scratching beat juggling and live remixing.
Shipwreck has caught the attention of party venues everywhere, as he
really knows his crowd delivering them exactly what they want night in
and out always djing under a simple philosophy of "a good song is a
good song".
